Bavarian cottage in the Chiemgau

A cottage like the Poschmühle one is a traditional
Bavarian institution.

In former times it served as a refuge for the older generation on the
farm, from that point on when they handed over their properties to
their heirs.

So each generation had its own dominion but at the same time
the old and young lived together and could help each other.

The Poschmühle cottage was built in the year 1785, which
is proofed by a terra cotta tile embedded in the front gable.
